Summer 2023 New Talent
Aaron Matthews
Aaron is a TDM Manager at ALTRANS and has over 3 years of experience managing first and last-mile active transportation solutions for private and public organizations. Aaron works closely with the Executive Director to manage operations for the Emeryville Transportation Management Association (ETMA), as well as, Harbor Bay Business Park (Alameda), and Kaiser San Leandro shuttle programs.
Aaron received his Master’s degree in Urban Planning from San Jose State University, where he also served as the president of the Urban Planning Coalition and was a member of the Upsilon Rho Beta Honor Society for maintaining above a 3.8 GPA throughout his academic career.
When Aaron is not working you can find him riding his road bike throughout the east bay. His favorite route is the San Francisco Bay Trail from the Richmond Marina to Yerba Buena Island.

Clara Mathews
Clara works on Kaiser TDM projects with a focus on survey design and implementation. She comes to ALTRANS with a background in Transport Research focused on global alternative commutes.
Her previous work includes designing and implementing transportation surveys in Ghana and managing emergency housing assistance programs for the Bay Area during the pandemic. In 2019 she graduated from the University of London with an Masters of Science in Research Methodology for Urban Development.

Martie Wynn
Martie is responsible for the oversight and management of the TDM program at the SoHay residential community. In addition to this program, she is actively involved in New Business Development.
As an accomplished entrepreneur, realtor, project manager, and marketing strategist, Martie has spent her career connecting people, tools, and resources to achieve sustainable outcomes. Her passion for sustainable transportation has led her to become a leading advocate for promoting environmentally friendly modes of transportation.

Wendy Silvani
Wendy brings some 25 years of TDM and TMA experience to the ALTRANS team for projects involving TMA formation and implementation.
Her background includes conducting feasibility studies, building local support for TMAs, creating core programs, governance development, and management for new and established TMAs throughout the Bay Area and other communities.
She also writes TDM Plans for proposed projects, monitors plans, and prepares annual reports documenting the effectiveness of those plans.
